Monthly Meetings

Monthly meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month. The meetings are at 7:00 PM, at the Wilmot Public Library, at 11 North Wilmot Road, in Wilmot, NH.

Lake-a-Thon

The Elkins Fish and Game Club is proud to sponsor Lake-a-thon.
This is a charitable event to generate donations to send children to Barry Conservation Camp.

Cardboard Boat Regatta

The Elkins Fish and Game Club is holding our annual Cardboard Boat Regatta as part of our Lake-a-thon event.
Build your own boat and bring it to the event. Lots of fun for kids and adults!.

Range Maintenance Tasks

We are always looking for volunteers to help complete projects and maintenance tasks at the club range. If you need service hours, or just want to help out, you can select an item from the task list or contact one of the club officers for more information.

Rifle Raffles

HENRY RIFLE
We are selling tickets for a Henry H001 Lever-Action .22 caliber rifle.
The drawing will be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017.
Tickets are $10 each and only 100 tickets will be sold.
All funds generated from this raffle will support our efforts to send children to Barry Conservation Camp.

RUGER RIFLE
We held the drawing for our Ruger 10/22 rifle raffle on Wednesday, May 3, 2017.
We congratulate the winner, Linda M. of Francestown, NH and we thank all of you who bought tickets.
The proceeds from this raffle will send two kids to Barry Conservation Camp next year.

50-50 Cash Raffle to support Barry Conservation Camp scholarships

The Elkins Fish and Game Club is traveling around the state, attending various events, where we are selling 50-50 raffle tickets to generate money to send kids to Barry Conservation Camp. Our 50-50 winners for this year are:
4-09-17 Concord Gun Show =   PENNY A. - Enfield, NH - Generously donated her winnings back to the club.

Campership Raffle

We are selling tickets to generate funds to send children to Barry Conservation Camp.
The drawing will be held on Wednesday, October 4th, 2017.
Tickets are $10 each and only 500 tickets will be sold.
Prizes are $1000 for 1st Place, $700 for 2nd Place and $500 for 3rd Place.

Fly Fishing on the Common

The Elkins Fish and Game Club helps people to learn about fly fishing, through lectures and "hands on" classes.

Annual Club Meeting

The Elkins Fish and Game Club Annual meeting was held on Saturday, March 4th, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Wilmot Public Library. Officer elections were held and there was a discussion of plans for the upcoming year.

Introduction to Firearms and Gun Safety

The Elkins Fish and Game Club is proud to conduct an Introduction to Firearms and Gun Safety event every year.
This event is open to the public and intended to teach people safe and proper firearm handling and useage techniques, and introduce them to the sport of target shooting.

Duck Box event

Our club is involved with the clean-out and repair of the wood duck boxes located at the marshy area of Kidder Brook near our club range property, on Beaver Pond in the Esther Currier Wildlife Management Area, at Turtle Cove on Pleasant Lake, and on Messer Pond; all in New London, NH. This maintenance work is conducted each winter.

Archery activities

The Elkins Fish and Game Club range has a 3-D archery course and a separate archery practice area, with targets stationed at 10, 20, 30 and 40 yards.

Range Certification

All members are required to be range certified before being allowed to use the range. Members needing to be certified should contact one of the Range Officers listed on the Club Officers page.

B.O.W. (Becoming an Outdoor Woman)

Co-Sponsored by New Hampshire Wildlife Federation and New Hampshire Fish & Game, the BOW program offers many different sessions to help women develop their skills in outdoor pursuits, such as fishing, hunting, and outdoor survival. The Elkins Fish & Game Club annually sponsors women to attend this program.

Club Safety Training Course

The club's Safety Training Course covers firearm, archery, and range safety. Members who do not have previous formal firearm safety training can use this class to qualify for range privileges. The classes are held at the Wilmot Public Library, at 11 North Wilmot Road, in Wilmot, NH. All members are welcome to attend.

"Fishing Down Under" Ice Fishing Benefit Event

The Elkins Fish and Game Club is proud to sponsor Fishing Down Under on Kezar Lake in Sutton, NH.
This ice fishing event is used to generate funds to benefit a local area family.
