Everyone is welcome to come out to our event, even if you just want to watch what's going on. For folks who might like to take part in something other than the tournament, we have other activities.

We will be clearing a large area on the ice, near the judging tent, so that children and adults will be able to ice skate and enjoy the winter weather at this beautiful lake.

If you get hungry or thirsty, we will be serving coffee, tea, hot cocoa, and snacks at the church hall.

For people who need a fishing license, or would like to get something more substantial to eat, they can go to
The Vernondale Store, located a short walk away on Rte. 114. The Vernondale Store sells hunting and fishing licenses throughout the year, and always has soups, sandwiches, and other fine eats to select from.

If you want to learn how to ice fish so you can enter our tournament in the future, will be be holding a class for children and adults. Instructors from NH Fish & Game will teach all the basics of the sport. Instruction will begin at 7:00 AM in the church hall. This 2 hour class will be followed up with instruction out on the ice. An area near our judging tent will be cleared for participants.

The skating area and ice fishing class are provided free of charge. Donations to our charitable fund will be cheerfully accepted.
