All funds taken in will be used to send children to Barry Conservation Camp.
There are two divisions:
YOUTH Division:
For children (8 to 18 years old). The entry fee is $5.00 per boat. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
OPEN Division:
For anyone 8 years old and up. This division is intended for adults and families. The entry fee is $20.00 per boat.
Trophies will be awarded for the fastest time on the course, the most creative boat, the sturdiest build, and the most spectacular sinking.

Need help getting started on building your boat? Need examples of how boats can be built? We have .PDF files that will show you how it's done. Just click on the button below.
Please remember that boats can only be constructed using regular cardboard, paper tape, contact cement, and latex paint. No waxed cardboard, epoxy, styrofoam, wood, plastic, or other materials are allowed.
You may be wondering where you can get your hands on large sheets of cardboard, which will make your boat much stronger and cut down on the building time. Try asking folks at the sporting goods stores (Bass Pro Shops, etc.) for the cardboard boxes their paddle boards and kayaks are shipped in. These are usually free for the asking and a good size for a boat.
There will be several parking areas available for the event. The preferred area will be at the King Solomon Mason's Lodge on Elkins Road. There will also be parking at the area across the street from the lodge. Ancillary parking will be available a short drive away at Marshall's Garage on Elkins Road. For participants, we ask that you come to the Pleasant Lake dam area to drop off your boat before parking your car. The drop-off area will be marked.
To see where to drop off your boat or to see where you can park, we've got a map for you.
Even if you can't make our event, you can still support our club's scholarship efforts. To make a contribution, please send a check to:
